It's obviously a moot point now. But If we are going to pay under a mil per year, then Theus would probably the best choice out there. If we can pay more than that, which I am convinced we could if we brought the right names into the mix, then we can obviously do better. And getting the best coach possible is obviously my main concern. That said, the pure hate and vitriol some of these supposed "UNLV" fans continually lob at Theus has really turned me off to a significant portion of the fan base. It's totally uncalled for and quite frankly, shameful. There's a rift that they have created that is going to be hard to bridge moving forward. I don't think Rice is a good coach and want him gone, but I stay away from get personal (because he is a UNLV guy), like they do with Theus.
